Why is My Job Listing Formatted Incorrectly?

Not to worry; there is a simple explanation for this.

You may notice that after listing a job, the text fields in the extended job listing view don't exactly match what you entered. This is likely because you have inputted text via copy-paste. 

When copy-pasting text from one application to another (like Microsoft Word), hidden formatting may also be copied over. This explains why some text looks different, why the spacing changes and why the final version looks wrong, even though you've entered the correct text in the List-a-Job fields.

As this is a well-known issue for websites with extensive text formatting options, there is nothing that can be done to enable the simple transfer from one app to another via copy-paste. To get around this, we recommend having your original document open next to the List-a-Job page, so that you can easily type it out without having to swap back and forth.
